Amani Williams, son of Drummie Zeb of the Wailers/Kenney Chensey, is a gifted drummer, songwriter, producer, and composer, and the leader of Burning Fire. From church choirs at age five to citywide stages on percussion before his teens, Amani “Bird” Williams built his foundation on Gospel, Jazz, Reggae, and Funk rhythms that still shape his playing today.

Bird continued perfecting his craft throughout the years. His skill set makes him a sought-after session drummer and touring drummer, having worked with artists such as Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, Taj Weekes, Josh David Barrett, and Keith Porter. 

​

As the leader of Burning Fire, he pushes boundaries and creates his unique sound.  The word, sound, and power of Burning Fire shall finally move the world. The collective is just getting started, and its mission is to heal the world through music.
