Born in rural Dominica, Zion's musical landscape was shaped at an early age by the messages of perseverance, endurance, and self and spiritual empowerment in the Roots Reggae Movement of the 70s. It was after moving to St. Croix that Zion made an impact on the music scene with songs like "United We Stand" and "Here Comes The Woman."

Zion’s timeless tenor and activist lyrics add an uplifting edge to Burning Fire Reggae Band, bridging classic roots tonality with present-day calls for justice and equality.
